Veterans Day Tribute

On the 11th Month, the 11th day, at the 11th hour, a cessation of conflict was called for in the midst of World War I in 1918. A year later in 1919, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11th as Armistice Day as a day of remembrance for those that served to bring about peace that day. In 1954 President Dwight D Eisenhower signed a bill into law, changing the name of the legal holiday to Veterans Day to honor all veterans who have served in the US armed forces past and present. This is time to honor those who have sacrificed for our country and to remember that peace is the goal of their sacrifice.

We here at NCCU take time to honor our Veterans, those who are members, a part of their families and amidst our communities. On our Veterans Tribute Wall you can find photos submitted by our members of those loved ones who have served our great nation. The pictures are also available for viewing on the outside sign at the Park Falls office as well as inside both branch locations.

Both Branches will be closed on Veterans Day in honor of those who have served our country. Online Banking, Mobile Banking, MIA and Remote Deposit Capture are available 24/7.
