Notice of Changes in Temporary NCUA Insurance Coverage All funds in a “noninterest-bearing transaction account” are insured in full by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA’s general share insurance rules. The term “non-interest bearing transaction account” includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal (“NOW”) account, money market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (“IOLTA”), even if share drafts may be drawn on the account. For more information about temporary NCUA insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.ncua.gov. Looking for an ATM? NCCU now has almost 5,000! NCCU is now part of the Alliance One ATM network. Ok? What does that mean? And why is it important? By placing NCCU's 6 ATMs into the Alliance One network, NCCU has gained access to other ATMs in the network for our members to use when they are traveling or relocate outside our membership area and not pay a fee. So, if you are traveling outside our membership area and need cash, you can access it without a fee! The Alliance One network currently has 556 ATMs participating in Wisconsin and almost 5,000 nationwide! The Alliance One logo will be displayed on each ATM that is part of the network. You can find the nearest Alliance One ATM on their website at www.atmallianceone.org by using the ATM locater on the left side of the page or by clicking on the Alliance One logo on the right side of this page.
