AARP Free Tax Return Assistance
NCCU would like to announce that again in 2012, NCCU will be partnering with AARP to offer free tax assistance to individuals. AARP will be providing volunteers to help individuals prepare their returns. NCCU will be providing space in our community room and assistance with scheduling appointments. Appointments will be available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays in February, March and April. To schedule an appointment, please call NCCU in Park Falls at 715.762.3208 and dial ext. 155 for Mary Jo.
Money Mission!
NCCU is proud to announce our participation in Money Mission! Money Mission is an online simulation that teaches personal finance basics through entertaining animated videos and game play-teens' preferred learning style. Teens create an avatar and live, work and make real life financial decisions in the game's simulated village, Mission Heights. Money Mission gives youth an opportunity to consider the financial obligations they face and how they will deal with them in real life. Teens that play Money Mission by March, 15, 2012 will have the chance to win an iPad 2! For more information on Money Mission, click here.
